The Process
1. COME ON DOWN
You are welcome to drop in at anytime during opening hours and stay for as long as you’d like. You can even leave and come back in the same day!
THE MINIMUM AGE TO CLIMB IS 8 YEARS OLD.
If you are between 8 to 15 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must supervise you at all times whilst you are within our gym.
All climbers under the age of 18 must also have the legal waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
2. PAY FOR YOUR FIRST CLIMB
Pay for your first climb will grant you a full week of unlimited climbing!
ADULT $24
STUDENT $22
SHOE HIRE $7
CHALK HIRE $4
Drop in at anytime during opening hours.
3. SIGN THE WAIVER
As you haven’t been to our facility before, you will need to complete the legal waiver and watch the Climb West Melbourne Safety Induction Video. You can do this before you arrive to save time!
Click on the tab below on this page to complete your digital waiver!
Climbing shoes are required. If you do not have your own pair of climbing shoes, don’t worry we have plenty for hire.
You may also need some chalk to help you send the routes. Again this is something we have for hire at our facility.
Once the above is all sorted, when you arrive at the gym, a staff member will take you through a mandatory practice safety briefing.
Staff will also brief you on the different types of boulders and training walls we have on offer. You will also be guided through the grading system to gain an understanding of the different levels of each coloured route.
YOU ARE NOW ALL SET TO FREELY CLIMB THE WALLS!
4. CHOOSE YOUR MEMBERSHIP OR ATTEND CASUALLY
